14/10: Mario vs. Pneumonia
I experienced seven days of hell, with a persistent fever of 40C all day long and continuous vomiting. Even the antibiotics the doctor had prescribed didn't seem to help. After seven days there was no other way out; I had to go to the hospital to get photos taken. It turned out I had a persistent pneumonia. Ugh. This meant even stronger antibiotics and a lot of rest was required. It seems to help. Apart from the coughing, I am doing pretty fine again now. Lucky me; it could have gone worse.22/09: Being saved by software
Last week something terrible happened. The boot partition of my hard disk refused to work in any way. I even took the hard disk to some specialists but they told me the data on it couldn't be recovered. I had all my videos, photos and projects on it so you can imagine it was a nightmare. Until two days ago.I tried all kinds of software to access the partition on my hard disk to at least save the data. All failed, except one. The blessed software is called GetDataBack by Runtime Software. With this software, it doesn't matter what happened to your hard disk. No matter if the boot sectors are corrupted or damaged, this piece of software is able to retrieve all your data. I highly recommend this software to every system manager, or anyone who wants an extra security measure for their important data.
